The V8, no doubt, sounds better at idle and lower rev's. Especially vs the V10 when cold started. The V10 seems to overwhelm at high revs, when it's screaming! You really can't go wrong either way. However, the exhaust pops a little but the note is very artificial and in a V6, something you would expect. The engine is fairly efficient and its a comfortable drive.
